WATCH: Carlos Gonzalez reflects on Atlético Ottawa's turnaround 2022 CPL season

Atlético Ottawa head coach Carlos González addresses reporters following his team's 2-0 loss to Forge FC in the 2022 Canadian Premier League final.

"I thought we had a brilliant, brilliant season," González said, as he reflected on his team's table-topping regular season and subsequent finals defeat. "Nobody thought at the beginning that we could be here on the last day of the season, that we'd play 31 games this season.

"We've made history. We won the regular season. We've been the most consistent team throughout the year. We had a great semi-finals (vs. Pacific FC) and today, we had a great game also, but it's true: Forge has been better than us.

"It would have been the perfect season if we won today, but I think it's still a brilliant season, from all the guys, from everyone, inside the field and outside the field."
