WATCH: Tajon Buchanan earns (more!) praise after another marquee showing

OneSoccer Staff
Canada NT

Tajon Buchanan shines for Canada.

Tell us if you've read that headline before.

But, to little surprise, the 22-year-old newly-minted Club Brugge winger again proved the brightest star on a field of ever-more-talented Canadian footballers, dazzling with some fancy footwork to draw an own goal out of the Honduran defenders - and, ultimately, leaving our Matchday Live crew singing his praises once more.

"What really impressed me about Tajon Buchanan tonight was not just the ability; it's the work ethic. He was tireless."

Added Kristian Jack: "Exceptional sporting performances like that come from exceptional sporting environments; the environment allows him to excel. They deserve a tonne of credit, this Canadian group. Young players can come in and be nothing but themselves. That is such an important factor, and it just doesn't happen a lot in other sporting environments."

The OneSoccer panel weren't the only ones left impressed with Tajon, though...
